AgilePM Practitioner

The objective of the AgilePM Practitioner course is to provide a greater insight on how to contextualize and apply the elements of AgilePM. Successful candidates will be able to apply this knowledge to a range of projects.

Agile management or agile project management is an interactive method for defining requisites and creating the corresponding output for projects, typically in domains characterized by a strong need for interaction and flexibility (e.g. infrastructure technology but not only).

The AgilePM Practitioner course is particularly recommended for Project Managers. It is also relevant for those working on planning, development and creation of agile projects.

This course follows the AgilePM Practitioner syllabus and will cover the following topics:

• AgilePM Practitioner Course Overview
• Practical application of the DSDM principles
• Roles and responsibilities- The Agile PM's view
• Agile Project Management- Through the lifecycle
• The effective use of the DSDM/AgilePM products
• Deliver on time- Combining Moscow prioritisation and timeboxing
• People, teams and interactions
• Requirements and user stories
• Estimating- how and when
• Project planning through the lifecycle
• Quality
• Risk management
• Tailoring the DSDM/AgilePM approach

The AgilePM Practitioner is a 2.5 hour, 4-question (20 marks available per question) exam. Please note this is an open book examination where candidates can use the official AgilePM manual.

Please note, the Foundation course is a prerequisite for the AgilePM Practitioner qualification.
