How do I apply for dispensations/adjustments for my examination?
APM is committed to promoting a positive attitude towards people with learning and physical needs. It has a great deal of experience in facilitating individual requirements and tailoring adjustments with the aim of removing any unfair disadvantage that the individual may encounter as a consequence of his or her medical/personal condition. How can I make payment for a course?
You can pay by card or invoice. If you opt for the invoice option, we will please need a copy of a purchase order.
How do I book a course?
You can either purchase directly through the website or contact our Business Development team on 0808 168 firstname.lastname@example.org who can send over a course booking form.
Are the exams included within the APM PFQ and APM PMQ Bundle Packages?
Yes, both online exams are included.
Can the APM online bundle package courses be started straight away?
Yes! As the courses are online, they are available to start immediately. You can work through these in your own time and at your own pace.
How long do I have access to the online courses with the APM online bundle package?
You will have access to the APM PFQ Online Course for 3 months and the APM PMQ course for 12 months. You must complete both exams within this timeframe.
I would like to bundle buy other courses, can I do this?

When does the 3, 6 or 12 months access start for the online learning courses?
Access will be granted immediately at the time of booking. This is when your time will start for online courses.
Do I have to start with the APM PFQ?
No, the APM qualifications offer structured progression, however, you should start at a level appropriate to your needs and experience.
How is the APM PFQ assessed?
The assessment is a 60 question, multiple choice examination taken over one hour.
How long does the online course take to complete?
We advise there is approximately 14 hours’ worth of e-learning to complete prior to sitting the exam. Please note, this is an average as learners’ study at different paces and you may need a little longer.
What is the pass mark for the APM PFQ?
The pass mark is 36 out of 60 which equals 60%.
When will I receive my APM PFQ exam results?
You will receive your results via email from the APM within 3 working days.
How is the PMQ assessed?
There are two examination routes for the qualification:
A three hour paper where candidates must answer ten from sixteen questions.
For PRINCE2® Registered Practitioners a two hour paper that recognises prior learning. In this paper candidates must answer six from ten questions.
How long does the online PMQ course take to complete?
We advise there is approximately 30 hours’ worth of e-learning to complete prior to sitting the exam. Please note, this is an average as learners’ study at different paces and you may need a little longer.
What is the pass mark for the APM PMQ?
The pass mark is 275 out of 500 which equals 55%.
When will I receive my APM PMQ exam results?
You will receive your results from the APM via email within 10 weeks.
Can I cancel my assessment if I feel I am not ready?
Once booked, the APM’s cancellation policy is robustly applied. Speak to your facilitator or our customer services for more information.
Can the three assessment elements be completed in any order?
No. You must follow the order given, which is always Scenario, Oral, Report.
Do I have to pass all three assessments to achieve the qualification?
You need to achieve 60% overall to pass, however you must also achieve at least 50% in all units to pass.
How important is the case study?
PPQ requires demonstration and application of knowledge. The case study is the platform to demonstrate this therefore knowledge of the case study is of huge importance.
How much can I annotate the case study with my own notes?
The case study has provision for light notes only. No additional paper or documentation is allowed. Highlighting is also acceptable.
If I re-book, would I be tested on the same case study?
This is highly unlikely. You would get a new case study and have to begin preparation all over again.
In unit 1, what is the purpose of the eLearning material supplied?
It is provided to enhance and reinforce elements of the reference and study guide and allow for a different learning experience
The unit study and reference guides contain a lot of information, do I need to memorise it all?
You should use the reference material to enhance and reinforce existing knowledge and learn new knowledge. Memorising is not recommended.
What happens if I cancel my assessment once it is confirmed?
You must try to avoid doing this. You would forfeit monies paid and have to re-book (with payment).
What happens if I miss one or more of the assessments?
Any assessments you have completed will be null and void and you will fail. The assessment team have a tight schedule of appointments and they will be unable to carry out additional assessments.
What level of knowledge is required for PPQ?
It is broadly equivalent to PMQ level in terms of depth of knowledge, but includes topics not covered within PMQ syllabus.
