About the course
Learning Outcomes
This ECITB accredited programme has been designed to meet the criteria of the QCF Level 2 standard for commercial awareness and risk management and as such, provides a valuable introduction to two key areas within the project control environment.

This course is an introductory level course for those with little or no formal training in commercial awareness and risk management and for those looking to enhance their knowledge in these key areas.

On completion of the course, learners will complete an end of course assessment.

  • Recognising how commercial arrangements define project controls requirements.

Understanding the importance of risk management
  • Describing key terms using in risk management activities.
  • Describing the role and importance of risk management in project control.
  • Describing methods of presenting risk information.
