Dougie has over 40 years of experience in the aerospace and defence fields, within both the Military (RAF) and Industry, holding a wide variety of key Programme/Project Management, Bid Management and In-Service Support roles within Domestic and International Industrial environments.
Dougie’s relationship with the Association for Project Management (APM) began in 2002 when he achieved his APMP, at the same time qualifying as a Prince 2 Practitioner. Not being one to stand still, he also qualified as a Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional in 2011.
Latterly, Dougie has become more focussed on delivering training and developing others in various domains. This encompasses not just the many project management skills, but also prepping clients to take formal PMI and APM qualifications. He is also an NDORS licensed trainer for both classroom and online courses, holds a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, is a DVSA certified motorcycle instructor, a PADI Divemaster and formerly an RFU qualified rugby coach.
When not delivering training, Dougie can be found leading motorcycle tours around the UK and Europe, sharing his passion with others.
