To achieve the APM Project Professional Qualification, candidates are required to pass 4 modules in total. Each module is a three-hour examination consisting of four questions based on a specific scenario.
The 4 modules that 20/20 currently offer include 3 core modules and 1 of 3 the APM elective modules:
- Professionalism and Managing Others
- Planning and Control
- Governance
- Project Management
Each module takes 5 hours to complete and as part of the 20/20 package, an online tutor will be available as well as access to the Assessment Criteria & APM.
Professionalism & Managing Others
- Promote the wider public good in all actions, and act in an ethically and legally appropriate manner in dealings with stakeholders and members of project teams and the organisation
- Develop & manage teams
Planning and Control
- Identify and monitor risks and plan and implement responses to them
- Prepare and maintain schedules for activities and events for change initiatives
- Develop, implement and update resource allocation plans and budget
Governance
- Establish and maintain structures that define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for the governance and delivery of change initiatives
- Manage stakeholders
Project Management
- Prepare and maintain definitions of the requirements of a project
- Secure resources and agree contacts and statements of work
- Agree, maintain and apply quality management processes
