The Skills Bootcamp seamlessly integrates academic theory with practical delivery methods, offering a dynamic learning experience. Ideal for those who enjoy the flexibility of online learning and application of skills in a controlled classroom setting.
Duration
The Skills Bootcamp begins with an induction to provide course information and objectives. Following the induction, a competency assessment ensures a clear benchmark and will be repeated at the Bootcamps last session to gauge your progress. The academic learning takes place over 5 days of engaging virtual sessions. Each day comprises of 2 sessions, totalling 6.5 hours, delivered via Adobe Connect. This is followed by two enriching days in a face-to-face classroom environment, allowing you to immediately apply your acquired knowledge, bridging theory with practical application. To finish, you will attend a virtual exam preparation workshop, ensuring you feel well prepared for your upcoming exam.
Exam
This package includes the online APM PMQ exam. The written exam, taken remotely, is 3 hours long with 15 minutes of additional reading time at the start. You must answer 10 questions out of 16. Key requirements include a PC with a camera, microphone, and internet access.

How do I book a Skills Bootcamp?

Since funding for the Skills Bootcamp is provided by the Department for Education (DfE), a framework agreement must be completed. For more information, please reach out to our dedicated team at [email protected]

What defines a small organisation versus a large organisation?

The UK government definition of SMEs encompasses micro (less than 10 employees and an annual turnover under €2 million), small (less than 50 employees and an annual turnover under €10 million) and medium-sized (less than 250 employees and an annual turnover under €50 million) businesses.

Are there any learner eligibility requirements?

To be funded, learners must meet all the following criteria:

  • Must be aged 19 or older, or will reach their 19th birthday on or before 31 August 2022 
  • Have the right to work in the UK. This can be checked on gov.uk/view-right-to-work 
  • Meet residency requirements & have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Live in England
