ICE Training is a branch of the ICE offering engineering and construction training courses that satisfy knowledge requirements across the breadth of infrastructure, as well as training on skills such as business and project management.

The partnership between ICE Training and 20/20 Project Management Training originated from a competitive tender issued by ICE Training, which 20/20 successfully secured in 2016. Recognising the growing need for project management training among its members, ICE Training sought a trusted partner to deliver accredited project management training courses. 20/20’s well-established presence in the project management training industry aligned well with ICE Training’s commitment to excellence and as a result, the partnership leverages 20/20’s expertise in project management with ICE Training’s esteemed reputation within the engineering community. From the very beginning, there has been a great synergy between the two organisations’ clients, with 20/20 working with several clients that are existing members of the ICE, including Balfour Beatty, Costain, Murphy’s and Sir Robert McAlpine.

From the very start of the relationship, 20/20 and ICE Training have worked in a collaborative and transparent way, always prioritising the learners needs first. Initially focused on providing eLearning solutions, the partnership has expanded to include in-person training across the UK and internationally.

Tom Vincent, CEO at 20/20, has actively engaged with ICE Training’s staff through presentations and client meetings, contributing valuable insights into project management’s impact on the construction industry. Notably, a highlight of the partnership was supporting the Dubai Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) with classroom training for their graduate programme.

Through this partnership, more than 1000 learners have received training, marking a significant achievement in strengthening project management competencies within the engineering community.
