About the ECITB Introduction to Project Controls course
This four day course provides a comprehensive and detailed insight into the fundamentals of project control including planning, estimating and cost engineering. It is equally applicable to either onshore or offshore environments. This course is delivered as a workshop using worked examples and case studies. It will give participants the skills and understanding to improve their project control performance using a range of best practice tools and techniques.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for those who are new to project control, or are being prepared for project control roles, or who require a refresher overview of project control principles, or relatively recent graduates.
What are the benefits?
For an organisation, the benefits of putting appropriate staff (again, 20|20’s emphasis is on appropriate training as inappropriate training can lead to issues and challenges around staff and HR retention becoming worse) through this course are that it can go towards meeting your obligations as an employer. Your staff will have a good grounding in Project Controls and the associated tools and techniques. Having staff qualified with ECITB Certifications can add to the credibility of your organisation and add weight to tender bids and reputation.
Being an ECITB Certified project person can measurably improve your confidence and knowledge around your role. Your ability as a project team member can increase and the esteem in which you are held by your peers and your industry can increase.
Increased confidence leads to better communicating. Communication is the bedrock of successful projects and successful Project Managers.

If you have a number of people from your organisation interested in a course then we can come to you. The benefits of in-house training is that the course can be contextualised to you. Your job titles, your terminology, your case-studies, your course. Contextualisation means increased understanding and application to your very specific organisational environment.
