The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) formerly known as Introductory Certificate (IC) – ( SCQF Level 6) offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology.
It is suitable for those wishing to gain a broad understanding of the principles of the profession. It will provide understanding of key project terminology in order for participants to gain confidence in a project environment. It will also provide a solid basis of knowledge to consolidate existing project team members’ understanding as well as provide an excellent first perspective to those new to the project environment.
It is therefore ideal for those new to working in projects or non-project staff who wish to gain a basic understanding of the project environment and project management terminology.

APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) Classroom Course – Open Schedule
Duration: 2 days
This course is highly interactive and demands the full participation of the delegates to ensure they receive the maximum benefit. The use of the case study contextualizes the learning through the use of participative exercises that increase the retention of the knowledge gained.
A one hour 60 multiple choice exam is taken on the afternoon of the second day of the course.

Study at your own pace and in your own time. This course involves approximately 17 hours of e-learning and you have the option to also take the APM PFQ exam online. You will need a working webcam for this.
