The APM will be rebranding their suite of qualifications over the next few months.
Following the recently launched APM Project Professional Qualification(PPQ) the APM are completing the transition to help show a clear progression for professionals looking to develop their career.
The previously known APMP will become:
APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
Other than the name, the qualification content and learning outcomes remain exactly the same. APM PMQ will still be aligned to the IPMA Level D and SCQF Level 7.
APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) – is a knowledge based qualification that allows candidates to demonstrate knowledge of all elements of project management. Candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how these elements interact and how their project fits into their strategic and commercial environment.
PMQ is designed to provide a broad level of project management knowledge, giving existing or aspiring project management professionals all the information they need to have confidence in approaching the management of projects large or small. The content discusses the terminology, tools and techniques and extends to provide a deeper perspective, facilitating an understanding of the reasons for their use as well as the benefits of doing so.
PMQ is a qualification recognised both nationally and internationally giving candidates a qualification that can be carried from one job to another or from one industry to another.
