Who is it for?

The course which has been accredited by The Project Management Institute (PMI) aims to provide a forum for Project Managers and members of project teams to gain exposure to Best Practice in Project Management in its broadest sense. This course is a pre-requisite for candidates seeking accreditation by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® for the Certificated Associate of Project Management (CAPM)® or Project Management Professional (PMP)® credentials. This course also provides 35 PMI Personal Development Units (PDUs), meeting the entry requirement.

Course structure

The course is delivered over 5 days and is aligned to the PMI Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)®. The first 4 days of the workshop will focus on established project management tools and techniques, knowledge areas and processes required for successful project execution. On day 5 delegates will revise earlier learning and participate in a sample examination. They will also be assisted to determine which of the above credentials is appropriate to their level of project experience, create a study plan in preparation for the examination and be advised on the application process for the examination.

Course delivery

This course is delivered as part of our global open course program. Alternatively, this course can also be scheduled as an in-house course and customized to your organization’s requirements. The course is delivered as a 4 Day fully interactive Workshop culminating in a final “mock” PMP examination. Delegates will be provided with pre-course access to 12 hours of PMI® accredited eLearning content.
